Milton Garden Guild is sponsoring a program on January 22 at 6:00 P.M. in the Milton Public Library., “Starting Native Plants from Seeds in Milk Jugs” with Larry Scheunemann. It may be winter, but now is the time to think Spring when starting seeds of native plants. There is a little twist though. You will be starting them in old milk jugs outside right now. Native plant seeds need to experience winter before the seeds will germinate. Larry Scheunemann will show you this simple way to grow lots of native plants with minimal work. You will be amazed at how successful this technique is and nature does the work outside. Larry had 100% germination of 30 different plants, including grasses and flowering plants last year.
Everyone is welcome and there is no cost. 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. Questions call Emily Scheunemann at 262-473-2998 or email@example.com
